From H.O.D Science

As Head of the Science Department, I am thrilled to share some thoughts on the vital role of scientific literacy in our rapidly evolving world. In today's society, understanding basic scientific principles is no longer optional; it's essential for navigating daily life, making informed decisions, and contributing to a better future.

The department is working tooth and nail to ensure the production of students who are equipped with essential communication skills for the global stage.

Language also goes beyond the classroom, through music and drama festivals where the students apply the skills they learn in literature and fasihi. They also participate in the Daily Nation/Taifa Leo writing competition where they practise their writing skills. The staging of setbooks is also done in Term One and Two to enhance better understanding of the same.

The vibrant Journalism Club also ensures the learners nurture their public speaking, reporting and writing skills. They also engage in debates/mjadala which help them refine their public speaking skills.

In conclusion, the department strives to ensure students appreciate the use of the languages since they are an integral part of the general performance of all the other subjects.

Looking Ahead

The school plans to integrate more digital learning tools, expand subject offerings, and build mentorship programs aligned with national development goals.
